Food, Feelings & Our Fight to Survive

How lived experience informs the conversation

Join OLLIE in conversation with Hope Virgo and Chanice, two incredible people who are donating their time to help us think through the experience of eating disorders from their perspective.

Chanice, AKA The Happiest Depressed Girl, is passionate about wellbeing and supporting others and also speaks about adoption issues. Chanice heads off to university this month but before she does, join her and us as she speaks with Hope Virgo – author, multi award-winning, international advocate and campaigner for people with eating disorders, as they discuss Hope’s campaign work and all things ED.

We are seeing an exponential rise in eating disorders amongst our teens, so you will not want to miss this important conversation that shares the lived experience of two of our brightest lights.

This talk is aimed at parents, educators, healthcare professionals and young people aged 16 and above.

After the talk there will be a 30 min opportunity for a Q & A.

We ask for a minumum donation of £5 to support OLLIE’s vital suicide prevention work.

However, if you are a student or if finance is a barrier for you, The OLLIE Foundation is willing to fully fund your ticket. In this case, please email [email protected] to receive a fully funded place.
