It’s great having goals, it’s even better when you know how to achieve them. Science proves that following a few basic rules can enhance your planning process and improve your ability to reach your goals, which in turn can improve both your resilience and wellbeing.
This is a workshop with guided practice – participants will learn a step-by-step process for planning how to reach one’s goal based on the world renowned Theory of Constraints (TOC).
The OLLIE Foundation wants to help you overcome the hidden obstacles you might face so you can achieve your dreams, whether that’s getting up and out without a panic attack, passing an exam or flying to the moon. We don’t want anyone to feel that the challenges they face are too big for them.
The OLLIE Foundation Goalsetting workshop will share with participants what many successful people know – that setting goals provides both short and long-term motivation and focuses knowledge gathering. It helps to organise both time and resources so that you can eliminate distraction and make the very most of opportunities around you and ultimately, your life.
This workshop will explore the science of goal setting, its impact on resilience, and how it can be used to reach our goals as well as reduce stress and the overwhelming feelings we can all experience when we have too much going on.
This session has been supported by our generous fundraisers and fully funded tickets are available to all. To book your free ticket, click on the Eventbrite link below and scroll down to “free ticket” within the ticket listings – on some devices it’s not so obvious and we don’t want you to miss out!
If you would like to support our work, there is an option to make a donation when booking your ticket. Every penny we receive supports our ability to offer free places to those who need them. A suggested donation of £25 would be welcome for adults and if you are a professional with access to a training budget, we suggest a minimum donation of £35.
We thank you in advance for all donations received.
Here at OLLIE, we understand that sometimes you may prefer to join our session anonymously and that’s fine by us. You are more than welcome to have your camera off and audio muted throughout, freeing you up to move around, eat or simply relax whilst we guide you through the session.
