Positive Youthful Minds

This FREE conference is tailored to support the Young People (age 11-19) of Welwyn Hatfield.  Co-ordinated by Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s partnerships team, the event is delivered with the support of our local service providers such as YC Hertfordshire, OLLIE Foundation, HCC Public Health, Hertfordshire MIND Network, JOCA, NHS, The Holistic Teen Coach.

The event is specifically targeting; Teaching Staff, Industry Professionals, Parents, Carers and Young People who live, work or are educated in our borough.

The day will be packed full of exciting and interactive workshops and delegates will hear from keynote speakers such as writer and campaigner Natasha Devon MBE and Dr John Coleman, author of “Why won’t my teenager talk to me?” … along and practical sessions to help tackle challenges young people in our community face by offering meaningful support and advice.

In the marketplace delegates will have the chance to talk and network with local Mental Health and wellbeing support/service providers which will be operating during breaks and over lunchtime.

The afternoon workshops will provide useful information around ; CBT techniques, suicide prevention, drugs and alcohol support, resilience, peer to peer support, benefits of physical activity, supporting students SEN, county lines and much more…

Spaces are limited are allocated on a first come first served basis.
