World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) 2019 sees OLLIE bring this year’s focus on Black and Minority Ethnicity community groups.
Suicide, has many cultural issue and different communities view suicide, and respond to it in their own unique ways.
We want to focus this year on the BME communities but this event, as always, is open to anyone.
The evening will offer an opportunity to enhance your understanding of the language and terms often used within mental health and suicide by hearing from guest speakers. You’ll have the opportunity to grab yourselves free training places, find out about a brand new community project, learn about the different support and advice available and get your hands on a goodie bag.
To ensure you cater for all our guests please be sure to mark yourself as attending on Facebook so we can review numbers.
The evening is being sponsored by Metro Bank who are providing the venue and refreshments and also supported by [email protected]
