Balance: Understanding the Scales

The OLLIE Foundation’s Balance: Understanding the Scales is a friendly and interactive emotional well-being workshop designed to help you pause, reflect and understand what helps keep you emotionally balanced. Through practical activities, discussion and self-reflection, you’ll explore the pressures you carry, the support available to you and simple ways to restore balance when life feels overwhelming.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, with stress, responsibilities and worries all piling up. This session introduces the idea of emotional well-being as a set of scales, helping you to recognise what adds weight to the load side and what strengthens the support side.

You’ll leave with greater awareness of your own well-being and practical steps you can take to look after yourself.

The workshop explores how stress accumulates over time, why connection and protective factors matter, and how small actions can make a meaningful difference to emotional well-being. It encourages self-awareness, self-compassion and practical ways to maintain balance during life’s challenges.

Book a live online workshop delivered by The OLLIE Foundation team which includes opportunities for discussion and self-reflection.

If you would like to book an in-person session for your place of work or organisation please email contactus@theolliefoundation.org
